We spent our new year holiday in a luxurious hotel, which was both historic and modern, with amazing views. the breakfast was great with pre, wrapped food items and the dinner was absolutely superb. We also enjoyed the pool and the grounds of the hotel which were well, maintained. the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The room was quite hot and unfortunately, there was no fan to offer relief. It would have been nice to have a lighter cover on the bed instead of the heavy duvet provided.

This hotel has a fantastic spa with nude and non-nude areas, as well as an outdoor heated infinity pool. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food at the restaurant is exquisite. The location is perfect for a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life and is surrounded by idyllic rolling hills.

While the location may be perfect for relaxation, there isn't much to do in the surrounding area unless you enjoy cycling or exploring ruined castles. it would have been nice to have more flexibility with viewing the adjacent property, but this is only available to the public on Sundays.
